A very simple vodka martini. It only has two ingredients, but because it is very simpleThere are a number of small differences that can really affect the final drink.
Personally, I like simple cocktails because I enjoy mixing a drink at home on occasion, and the classic Vodka Martini is not only delicious, but easy to prepare. I always have the ingredients on hand.
3 ways to make a vodka martini:
- with vermouth And a big piece of lemon
- Vermouth rind (after the glass has cooled, add 1 tablespoon of dry wine and move it around the martini glass to cover it).
- Add olives (and olive juice) to a dirty martini.
Either way, the number one tip I have for anyone who enjoys a good vodka martini at home is to keep the vodka in freezer.
This keeps your spirits chilled and ready to make a martini in a second. 😉
If you don’t have lemon in the fridge, you can replace it with lemon peel, orange, or even grapefruit. It will change the final drink, but in a pinch, these are all still delicious options. cheers! xo. whatever

Keep vodka in the freezer. It won’t freeze, it will stay very cold. If possible, it’s also a good idea to keep martini glasses in the refrigerator until they’re chilled, too.
