S’mores in the oven, air fryer, or microwave

While I love the outdoors s’mores at home Or while camping, sometimes mosquitoes are too violent or it’s too cold outside. And that’s when you need to know how to make indoor s’mores.

You can make sable in the oven, in an air fryer, or in the microwave. It is easy and safe, although each method has its advantages and disadvantages – similar to the method Baked potatoes in the oven, air fryer or microwave.

S’mores = graham crackers + toasted marshmallows + chocolate

While I always pretty much stick to it Store-bought graham crackers When I make s’mores, you can use any type of cookie you think would make a good cookie sandwich.

Here are some homemade cookie recipes that you might want to try:

I usually use store-bought marshmallows but you can also take the opportunity to learn How to make homemade marshmallows.

Once you know the basic recipe, there are plenty of ways to customize it like Marshmallows and mintAnd the Espresso marshmallowsAnd the Marshmallows with lemon and rosemary.

Store-bought marshmallows are great too!

  • jumbo size These work best in the oven or air fryer.
  • classic size – These work well for all methods.
  • small size It can work with any method, although it is difficult to keep it in place.
  • stuffed puffs – These come with some kind of center, like milk chocolate. These work well in the oven or air fryer.

You can use any type of file chocolate bar or chocolate candy (such as Peanut butter cups) for inner s’mores centers.

S’mores in the oven:

On a baking sheet, add as many grahams as you plan to use (you can make as many or as few as you like). Then put a layer of chocolate and marshmallows.

Roast for 1-2 minutes. This will grill quickly! So watch closely.

Once the tops of the marshmallows are just a little warm, take them out of the oven and add the graham crackers on top.

* Do not use butter paper under the grill.

S’mores in an air fryer:

Add a small piece of Butter paper (my choice). Then add one or two graham crackers, or as many crackers as you can in your machine Air Fryer Basket. Then add the marshmallow.

Air fry at 390°F for 3-4 minutes. Once the marshmallow appears toasted, turn off the air fryer. Add the chocolate over the toasted marshmallow and place the basket back into the air fryer (turned off) for about 10 seconds to melt the chocolate slightly.

Add the last graham cracker on top.

S’mores in the microwave:

On a microwave-safe plate, add as many graham crackers as you like. Then put a layer of chocolate and marshmallow.

Microwave for 10-15 seconds. The marshmallow will puff up, but not necessarily turn golden brown or toasted like other methods.

Top with graham crackers and enjoy.

*Do not use Stuffed Puff marshmallows, as I have found that the centers tend to ooze or burn in the microwave manner. It is better to take regular and unstuffed marshmallows.

My favorite methods are the oven and air fryer, where the marshmallows get the outside toasted (as if they were cooked over a fire). But, if you want something super fast, a microwave is the way to go.
